South India Cultural Heritage (February 2011)

As discussed last month, this year, we will cover various aspects of Hinduism as it is observed in different parts of the world. Continuing on the topic, this month, we will cover the common rituals and cultural practices of South India. Kids can cover famous Gods, temples – and the unique temple architecture -, festivals, beautiful landscapes, traditional clothing, language, expressive dances, classical music, and, yes, delicious south Indian cuisine. Please feel free to cover the rich India heritage at region or state level.
