Mahayagya (महायज्ञ) and Parents Day (मातृ-पितृ दिवस) Celebrations (July 2025)
On the planet earth, there is an act that brings peace, multiplies blessings, removes obstacles, showers prosperity, and helps one connect with Almighty. The sages of India revered it above all other rituals. I am sure you have guessed it – the act is Yagya!
Performing a yagya can swiftly deepen your connection with divine energies. In Vedic tradition, the sacred fire is considered a direct channel to the divine—your offerings and prayers are believed to reach higher realms instantly through Agni, the fire god.
होता है सारे विश्व का, कल्याण यज्ञ से ; जल्दी प्रसन्न होते हैं, भगवान् यज्ञ से
(The welfare of the whole world happens through Yagya; the Divine is quickly pleased by Yagya.)
As you know, July is a very special and dear month for Hawan Group: we dedicate this month’s hawan to our parents, by celebrating and worshiping them. We call it the Parents Day मातृ-पितृ दिवस. Last year, we made it even more special by also hosting a special hawan on that day: Mahayagya महायज्ञ.
What is Mahayagya. This is the hawan in which every attending family is a host/yajman. The number of actual families is not a limitation. Be it 11-kundiya, 21-kundiya, or any number of hawan kunds, each family performs the hawan as yajman. If you have ever attended one, you know that just being a part of such a Mahayagya is one of the most divine experiences of your life.
We feel extremely excited to invite you to attend the Parents Day (मातृपितृ दिवस) and Mahayagya (महायज्ञ) on Saturday, July 26th.
After the hawan and Parents Day celebration, a Preeti bhoj will be served. Please find attached a few glimpses of the last year’s special Hawan.
You know a special day becomes special only when special and pure people are in it. If you have read this message until now, you are one of those special and pure people in our life. Please direct message me to avail this opportunity to be a part of this and be a yajman in this divine experience.
Please watch the attached videos and let your kids watch it too. This has the details of the kids assignment.
