End of Year Revision (December 2023)
Dear Hawan Kids,
Hope all of you are doing great and looking forward to the upcoming holidays. Are you feeling the excitement of our special end-of-the-year hawan – I am! First, for the new members, we host a few yet engaging events to conclude the calendar year. In the December Hawan, as opposed to the traditional style of presenting assignments, we learn in a play-way method. And, this year is no exception.
Having just concluded the 10 principles of the Arya Samaj, the game will have questions from what you learnt in the monthly assignments. In addition, it will also have questions relating to what you have learnt about our festivals, rituals, values, and country. Below are the topics for the game:
- Arya Samaj and its principles
- Hawan Rituals
- Hawan Mantras
- Indian Festivals
- Indian Scriptures
- General Knowledge
So, what are you waiting for: open your hawan notebooks, do your research, speak with your parents and grandparents, and get ready… see you tomorrow.
The game will be played using Kahoot. I hope you have played Kahoot before and know its format. If you have not, I will suggest you familiarize yourself. You can participate in it directly from your laptop or mobile phone.
As for the participation in the quiz, every kid will partake as an individual participant. In fact, parents will also be encouraged to join as separate participants.
I am already feeling excited and looking forward to a live and zestful session.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need clarification.
Regards,
Harsh Mendiratta
